ESXi : 네트워크 설정하기(Network Configuration)

가상화 서버를 구축하고 나면 본격적인 관리를 위해 원격 클라이언트를 이용하게 된다. ESXi가 설치된 서버 자체에서는 할 수 있는 기능이 사실상 거의 없기 때문이다. 따라서 우리는 설치형 관리 프로그램인 vSphere Client 또는 브라우저를 통해 관리 할 수 있는 웹 기반의 VMware Host Client 를 이용해 관리 시스템에 접근해야 한다.

그러나 이 때, 네트워크 IP가 고정되어 있지 않고 껏다 켜질 때마다 IP주소가 바뀐다면, 우리는 관리 화면에 접근 하기 위해 많은 노력과 고생을 하게될 가능성이 높다. 이를 위해 ESXi를 설치한 가상화 서버는 관리의 용이성을 위해 IP를 특정 주소로 고정시켜 줄 필요가 있다.

여기서는 ipTime 공유기를 사용하고 있다는 가정하에 고정 IP를 위한 네트워크 설정 과정에 대해 살펴본다.

※ 본 게시물은 "VMware vSphere Hypervisor 6.0.0 Update 2" 버전을 기준으로 서술합니다.

Press the F2 key.

F2 키를 누른다.

After entering the password and press Enter.

패스워드를 입력 후 Enter 키를 누른다.

Select "Configure Management Network" and press Enter.

"네트워크 설정 관리(Configure Management Network)"를 선택하고 Enter 키를 누른다.

Select "Network Adapters" and press Enter.

"네트워크 어댑터(Network Adapters)" 선택 후 Enter 키를 누른다.

Select "Network Adapter" and press D key.

"Network Adapter" 선택 후 D 키를 누른다.

Check the Mac Address of the selected adapter.

선택한 Adapter의 Mac Address 를 확인한다.

The router's administration page accessed by a browser.

브라우저를 실행하여 공유기 관리 화면으로 접근한다.

Enter the Administrator ID and Password to login.

관리자 ID 및 Password 를 입력하고 로그인 한다.

This example assumes that the router's settings ipTime vendors.

본 예제는 ipTime 벤더의 공유기를 설정하는 것을 가정한다.

Click on the Manage page.

"관리도구"를 클릭한다.

Click the "Advanced Settings".

"고급 설정"을 클릭한다.

Click "network management".

"네트워크 관리"를 클릭한다.

Click "internal network management".

"내부 네트워크 관리"를 클릭한다.

Check the gateway's internal IP address, subnet mask, to use a fixed IP.

고정 IP를 사용하기 위해 게이트웨이의 내부 IP 주소, 서브넷 마스크를 확인한다.

Enter the IP address and MAC address to secure your ESXi network.

ESXi 네트워크를 고정시킬 IP 주소와 MAC 주소를 입력한다.

Make sure the IP and MAC addresses are properly registered.

정상적으로 IP 및 MAC 주소가 등록되었는지 확인한다.

Press Enter to close the Adapter Details.

Enter키를 눌러 어댑터 상세를 닫는다.

Select "IPv4 Configuration" and press Enter.

"IPv4 Configuration"를 선택하고 Enter 키를 누른다.

Select "Set static IPv4 address and network configuration" and press the Space key.

"Set static IPv4 address and network configuration"을 선택하고 Space키를 누른다.

Enter the static IP address, subnet mask, and gateway IP address registered in the router settings and press Enter key.

공유기 설정에서 등록한 고정 IP 주소, 서브넷 마스크, 게이트 웨이 IP주소를 입력하고 Enter키를 누른다.

Press the Esc key.

Esc 키를 누른다.

Press the Y key for the changes to take effect.

변경사항 적용을 위해 Y키를 누른다.

The log out by pressing the Esc key.

"Esc"키를 눌러 로그아웃 한다.

Check that the network changes to take effect.

네트워크 변경사항이 적용되었는지 체크한다.

The connection to the IP address is changed using a browser.

브라우저를 이용해 변경된 IP 주소로 접속한다.

With Chrome browser based on the following screen appears, click Advanced.

크롬 브라우저를 기준으로 다음과 같은 화면이 나타나면 "고급"을 클릭한다.

If a warning indicating that the browser to select whether the risks connected.

브라우저에서 경고를 나타내는 경우 위험성을 인지하고 접속한다고 선택한다.

When completed, the following screen will be set up.

다음과 같은 화면이 나타나면 설정이 완료된 것이다.
